The Retirement Hub was built around an idea that came out of the need to publicise the scope of services available to retired civil servants and their partners. The Internet offers a new solution to point the way to organisations that you may not know and who exist to help you.
The Useful Links page is the heart of the site and you will find links to Government Departments for benefits and pensions information, independent financial information, healthcare, sport and leisure, and much much more..

For a great deal on your household, motor, travel, pet and caravan insurance, there has never been a better time to try the Civil Service Insurance Society (CSIS). It offers a range of insurance policies retired Civil and Public Servants (and their partners) with no upper age limits, at specially negotiated, discounted rates. What's more, all its profits go to charity. Set up in 1890 to help Civil Servants, the Society is a "not for profit" organisation which gives its surplus income to Civil and Public Service charities, like the Civil Service Benevolent Fund. In the last six years it has donated more than £3 million to such causes. |
